Recommended
youngest ages (of course there may be exceptions!):

Piano 1st
grade or 6 years old

grade or 8 years old

grade or 8 years old

Home-school
Group Lessons (45- minute class for 2-6 people) - general music with
instrument exploration - ages 5 and
up

Attendance
- Lessons are scheduled on a weekly basis (See
"Canceling" below.)
- Students are expected to attend every lesson, and have their books,
instrument(s) and practice log at each lesson.
- Your pre-payment secures a weekly 30-minute slot. Students are
expected to arrive on time for lessons. Because someone else has
secured the next time slot, students may not stay more
than five minutes after their time slot unless prior arrangements have been
made.

You will be called in the event of a delay or cancellation by Mrs. Leone, and you will
either be given your full
lesson time, or credited a proportionate amount.
Practicing

All
students must have daily access to their instrument.

Children
taking lessons should be provided 10-20 minutes practice time daily.
(A metronome and Practice Timer is available on the Fun
and Games page of this web site.) I'll trust the adults to
schedule the time for themselves. J
Canceling Lessons
- 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of lessons or the regular
lesson fee will be charged. Please call ASAP in the event of
sudden illness. You may contact Mrs. Leone by e-mail (lessons@suleone.com)
or by calling 919-649-1320
Terminating Lessons
- Two final lessons are required upon termination of lessons in order to properly
transition out of the studio. If you wish to stop taking lessons
immediately, there will be a $60 early termination fee.

Payment
Policy
Private Lessons $25 per 30-minute lesson in my
Raleigh studio
- for children and adults
- one-on-one weekly instruction
- taught by a certified educator

- one-time class or set of four sessions, advanced sessions upon request
All payments are due at least 7 days in advance of lesson. Payment for
first & second lesson may be made at the first lesson.
Discount Programs (can do all three at the same time!):
- Sibling Discount - $22.50 per lesson for family members, including
parents
- Block Discount - 10% discount if 4-10 lessons purchased in advance
- Referral Bonus - You get $10 credit if a new student mentions
your name!
Student is responsible for instrument rental or purchase, all lesson books,
and necessary equipment such as cases, tuners, music stands, and
metronomes. Some may be required right away, or later, depending on the
student's instrument, experience, and practice needs.

- Personal check ($25 fee for bounced checks) - payable to "Su Leone"
- Money Order - payable to "Su Leone"
- PayPal

- PayPal users, please add a $2 handling charge to each payment
