THE OLYMPICS:

• The 2008 Summer Olympics are in Beijing, China
• The 2010 Winter Olympics will be in Vancouver, Canada
• You can support the US Olympics Team with a purchase at their store!

MY FAVORITE TEAMS (usually for nostalgic reasons! LOL):

• Rochester Red Wings (minor league baseball) - One of our pitchers, Brian Duensing is playing for the US in the Olympic Games!!!
• Rochester Raging Rhinos (soccer) - 1999 US Open Cup Champions!
• Duke Blue Devils (college)
• NC State Wolfpack (college)
• New York Mets (major league baseball)- they played the first time I watched a MLB World Series - web site has autoplay video!
• Buffalo Sabres (major league hockey) - Jason Pominville elected to use his dual citizenship to play for the United States in the 2008 IIHF World Championships in May - instead of for Canada. (He has dual-citizenship.)
• Rochester Americans, "The Amerks" (minor league hockey) - Our mascot is "The Moose."  Whenever I eat Denali's "Moose Tracks" ice cream (my favorite flavor), I think of the Amerks.
• Seton Hill Griffins (college)
